Newborn photos are best taken when baby is between 5 and 30 days fresh.  We recommend that you reserve your baby's newborn session at least six weeks before their due date.  We hold your spot on our calendar based on your due date, then we confirm a specific date and time for your session as soon as baby is born.

Yes, we have learned newborn posing, lighting, and safety through in-person and online training with the industry's top professionals and safety organizations.  We've been safely photographing newborns since 2014 and we look for many more years of memory making to come.  We are committed to providing you with the best experience and top quality products so we continue to advance our newborn photography education every year.

Our studio is filled with all of the props we need to make beautiful portraits for you.  We will send you a preparation guide once baby is born to give you some tips on what to bring and how to help your baby be ready for their session.

Absolutely!  We send you a quick questionnaire before baby is born to learn more about your color preferences, styling choices, and posing ideals.  Then, when you arrive to the studio for baby's session, we walk through our proposed styling and flow and make any adjustments needed.  Our goal is to make the process simple and seamless with beautiful results.

Of course, when you choose one of our top two packages for baby's newborn session, we love incorporating photos of baby with family members.  For siblings under age 6, we ask that you have someone bring them in for the last 30 minutes of your session so that we can put all of our focus on your newborn for the main part of your session.  We also encourage having grandparents in your baby's newborn portraits!
